Long time no rant

I’ve been offered a job interview for an software company.

 

Which is nice, as I’m less than enthusiastic about the handling of software at the current place. We shall just have to see what happens – but it’ll be a pay rise anyway.

 

It’s been a while since I’ve written anything, and I’m still promising y’all deep insight into my brain, but no such thing is going to happen.

 

Especially when I have a readship of one, and he’s not here that often. I may post more if people are interested. I think I’ve set the permission to public so other folks can see the page. I’ll stop talking now as I’m not saying anything interesting.

Not the weekend any more

But everyone’s got new Jobs!! Woo hoo!! Congrats to everyone who’se got a new job – which so far includes:

It’s the weekend

And I’ve been meaning to post something a bit more meaningful than what’s happening in my life up here. But I haven’t got around to it – so look forward to some controversial unfounded points about the internet and who stands to gain from demonising it. (If I can ever get around to it.)

 

On a different tack – I’ve got no idea what to do this weekend, and that probably means we’ll be doing nothing. Ellie’s not feeling too well, and it’s pretty damn cold so we could end up lazing all weekend.

 

Ah well.

Blurgh

It’s wednesday afternoon – and I’ve come home early from work because I have a cold. I took Monday off because of the same cold but somehow struggled through on Tuesday. So now I’m sitting in the Bristol Tissue mountain, feeling bunged up and sorry for myself. Of couse, if I was enjoying work I might have been able to struggle through today – but who enjoys work? 🙂

 

Ah well, there’s always tomorrow – now I’m off to get a nice warm cup of tea with honey in it – it doesn’t help the cold but it makes me feel better.
